The Kelvinox®VT is a small, dipstick-style, dilution refrigerator designed to operate inside the cold environment provided by a 50 mm variable temperature insert.

Our dilution refrigerator with 1K pot - Kelvinox®VT is a sample-in-vacuum dilution refrigerator that provides a simple means of cooling samples below 25 mK. It is designed to fit into any Oxford Instruments variable temperature inserts (VTI) with 50mm access.

As it uses the cold gas environment of the VTI, there is no need for a 1K pot on the insert.
This provides key benefits:

 

• the temperature range of a new or existing VTI can be extended to 25 mK or less

• appropriate use of exchange gas allows measurements up to 300 mK

• there is no liquid helium in the sample horizontal plane making the Kelvinox®VT ideal for neutron or X-ray scattering experiments
